DESCRIPTION:The Sounds of Summer Concert Series brings live music to Downto
 wn Center each Tuesday and Thursday evening during the months of June\, Ju
 ly and August. What began in 1998 from an informal gathering of local musi
 cians has grown into a much-anticipated community tradition that some migh
 t argue is the best part of summer. The concerts are free and typically fe
 ature bluegrass bands on Tuesdays and country/southern rock on Thursday ev
 enings\, weather permitting\, from 7 to 9 p.m. As a special feature of thi
 s series\, one evening a month is set aside for a tribute band that featur
 es the songs of some of our favorite artists.\n\nSpectators are invited to
  bring a chair or a blanket and enjoy a snack from our concession stand.\n
 \nThe Band From the Edge is a Party Rock and Roll with a taste of twisted 
 country! "FROM The EDGE” will keep you on your feet!
